The experimental setup helps to study how signal from a transducer transmit and receive using Pulse Code Modulation technique.
The set up contains three major blocks :
- LVDT Trainer :
The single board trainer with steel case and integrated power supply and Digital panel meter for measurement of voltage. The LVDT is mounted on a stand fitted with a micrometer for small mechanical movement. The displacement is measured in terms of voltage.
The trainer consists of the following specifications :
- Transduce : Linear Variable Differential Transformer ( LVDT ) fitted with stand.
- Excitation : Small mechanical movement of the LVDT Plunger by a micrometer.
- Electronic Block : Stable I.C. based oscillator with power amplifier.
- Phase sensitive detector.
- Differential Amplifier.
- Amplifier with adjustable gain.
- Output Indicator : Digital Panel Meter.
- Pulse Code Modulation Trainer
The single board trainer helps to study Pulse Code Modulation. The trainer contains :
- IC regulated power supplies.
- Variable clock frequency.
- Sampler circuit.
- ADC.
- Parallel to serial converter.
- Pulse Code Demodulation Trainer
The single board trainer helps to study Pulse Code Demodulation. The trainer contains :
- IC regulated power supplies.
- Clock Frequency Generator.
- Serial to Parallel Converter.
- DAC.
- Filter.
Additional Accessory :
- Signal Generator
- Dual trace Oscilloscope
