BH & Hysteresis Loop

The unit helps to study the following experiments :

• 1. To trace the B-H loop of a transformer core using CRO.
  2. To evaluate the hysteresis loss in the specimen.

The unit consists of :

       • N2 is the No. of turns in the secondary :

         • N2  (of 20 V) = 232 turns.
         • N2  (of 15 V) = 186 turns.
       • Length of the specimen, L = 0.033 m.
       • Area of cross section, A = 0.0229 x 0.0229, m² = 0.00052 m²
