Automated Measurement of Sensors Characteristics using Computer

Studies the characteristics of various sensor using Computer based data acquisition and control system.

The following experiments to be performed –

  1. Thermocouple : Temperature Vs. thermocouple output in mV.
  2. LVDT : Mechanical Displacement vs. LVDT’s output voltage.
  3. Photodiode :
    • To draw the Reverse Bias Voltage ( VR) Vs. Current ( IR )  when illumination (L) is constant.
    • To draw the Illumination ( L ) Vs. Current ( IR )  characteristics when reverse bias voltage ( VR) is constant.
