LASER based free space Communication : Optical Data Communication

Objective :

1. Analog Transmitter and Receiver modules to transmit and receive signal.
2. Establish the Voice Communication Link.

The trainer contains :

• I.C. regulated  +  &  – 12 V @ 500mA .                                             
• Sine wave Generator :
  • 100 Hz to 100K Hz.
  • Output 0 to 5 V peak to peak
  • 50 Ohms output impedance.
  • Digital frequency counter.

• Analog Modulator with Diode Laser.
• Analog Demodulator with Phototransistor.
• One carbon microphone with stand.
• One head phone ( for voice Communication Link).
• Audio Frequency amplifier.
